1st and half-of-2nd Day
Well the first day didn't go too bad. Despite almost bored bazookas - the folks went house visiting without this patient here. But oh well, it's perfectly fine with me. Everyone knows how much I luurrrvvee thems extended families. Momma collected angpows on my behalf. Heh, didn't have to earn them through plastic smiles and rehearsed "gong xi fa cai's".
Couple friends asked me to club. Another bunch asked me for blackjack session. Declined all, cos I can only do 'brainless' things. Plus it ain't good to gamble when one's ill. Pantang, pantang. Mobile rang again at 6plus. I was cooking maggi mee..
"ALLO! Any plans any plans?" It was Des.
"Nope. I very no life one.. ahhaha"
"Hmmm.. wonder what shows there are tonight.."
"Sure have la. Cinemas stay open.. Geisha? Fearless?"
"You think tai will watch geisha meh? Haha.. Think he's more for Jet Li"
Called tai, checked schedules, booked tickets, set time and place to meet. Suddenly feel so hyped up... CAN GET OUTTA DA HOUSE! YIPPEES! Somemore not too siong activity (no need physical/mental strength, LOL). Caught 130am show at PS. The kungfu choreography's an eye-opener. Worth the 9 bucks!
Now waiting for Aunt Jo's and Aunt Judy's families to come. Mom dug me outta the covers at 11 just now. Still a bit in dreamland..... Hey 5 hours of snooze what you expect! Later might be going Des's place. He say after that go with him to Ed's house for dinner. Which I feel paiseh cos after all, Ed didn't invite me.
"Haiya it's ok one la. I bring you there it's different,"
"Paiseh leh..."
"Well, it's not your first time there right? No need paiseh la."
"HAIYA X'mas different mah - he invited me that time leh."
"It's ok one..... Anyway, I don't think they'll be surprised to see you with me."
"Eh? How come?" Hmmm... are you hinting at something?
"Dunno leh, hunch."
After movie he was still trying to psycho me to go with him. See how.. maybe go his house first then head off to Ed's together. Or just meet them for River Angbao after dinner..? Meantime I'd have to raid my wardrobe for stuff to wear tonight, tomorrow (goin Angie's place), and Wed (goin group chairman's house for dinner).
