Double Happiness
Today's my mummy's birthday!!! WOOHOO!!
Her 53rd to be exact.. and she still doesn't look a day over 50. Guess that's where I got my baby-face genes from. Just ordered a bouquet of 12 red roses bundled with Ferrero chocolates (her fave brand) via the internet. Should reach her before noon..
Tonight I'm treating her to dinner at Wasabi. Authentic Jap food at our hangout place, Compasspoint. After that most probably shop around. I need new suits and new pumps! Need to look more corporate..
Second happiness? I'VE GOT A PAY RAISE! YEEAAHHH!! Quite a good figure too. Yesterday around 4+ boss msned me about it, my first thought was "FINALLY...." :)
"Keep up the good work," she said.
I was practically over the moon. Don't know why but little words of encouragement or concern, from boss especially, makes me feel less edgy and kinda motivates me. Perhaps I see her as both mentor and good friend. It really does help when you're friends with your colleagues/bosses =)
