Hobby Friends

Just had a short chat with Thomas on the phone. Text him earlier to ask what's the plans for tonight. It's been "2 months" according to him, that I kinda disappeared from the face of the earth. Their earth that is. Told him the same thing I told Willy, and he laughed.

They're having a birthday celebration at Chris's place tonight. Most probably I'll drop by to say hi. Need to get over what happened, else the friendship would be gone very soon. Plus they're concerned why I suddenly disappeared - was it something we said or I said?

Maybe I AM thinking too much. The feeling of being left out especially. We were all fine n dandy, weren't we? He'll call me around 5plus to do grocery shopping for the dinner. Shall take this chance to talk to him. He's my brother after all.

*** Hobby friends ***
Ok back to my main topic. I've been toying with the idea of taking up new stuff, instead of spending money on clubbing and frivolous shopping. Been kinda looking around for courses that'll interest me. Next Saturday I'll be starting pool lessons with Ricky, and Kev's gonna get back to me on his friend's reply on drumming. Just yesterday afternoon, Angie, Linda and I signed up for pilates which's gonna start in end Oct! Quite excited over it cos' finally got some fellas who're -actually- signing up. Beats the "oh im interested in that too!" talk anytime.

So it's gonna be a single date with croonilicious Buble on 10 Oct at the Indoor Stadium. Lovely. Somehow most of my existing friends ain't much of concert people. Well some of them "don't mind concerts", but just not as appreciative of Buble as I am. Damn, how I miss my Borneo partner-in-crime. :((

I definitely need more like-minded hobby friends. Those I can pursue courses with, like hiphop classes and all. I'm thinking belly dancing, shall ask around see what the response is. If I can't find anyone, I'll just go ahead myself. Can get to know new people during the classes too! :)

As for pool, it's just gonna be me at the moment. I need to get into the game pronto. Else in Brunei I'm gonna be so damn bored. Since Leo nor Reub can train me, I might as well pick it up here in Singapore. Well doing things alone can be good too - I can focus and train on my games. Chaofong said it's gonna be very technical, perfecting a shot and repetitively doing it and everything. Well, bowling IS technical too. Need to get the basics right in order to play well! Ricky seems like a nice fella on the phone. Still crossing my fingers that he won't be too stern a coach. Lol!

Hmm what else to take next. Wine appreciation, anyone?
